AZGOP and RNC Sue Arizona To Clean Up Voter Rolls

June 30, 2025

PHOENIX, AZ - The Republican Party of Arizona (AZGOP), in partnership with the Republican National Committee (RNC), has filed a lawsuit challenging an Arizona law that allows individuals who have never lived in the United States to register to vote.

“Arizona’s elections must be decided by the people who call this state home, not non-residents,” said Gina Swoboda, Chairwoman of the AZGOP. “This lawsuit defends the integrity of our elections and the constitutional rights of every lawful voter.”

This legal challenge is part of a nationwide effort to secure our elections, clean up voter rolls, and ensure that every vote cast in American elections is legal and legitimate.

AZGOP will continue to lead the fight to protect election integrity and safeguard Arizona’s future.
