David Jolly Wants to Shred the Second Amendment - Florida Will Stop Him

July 28, 2025

TALLAHASSEE, FL - The Republican Party of Florida (RPOF) Chairman Evan Power is calling out Democrat David Jolly for declaring war on the Second Amendment.

Jolly, a failed congressman turned MSNBC talking head, who delusionally thinks he can be Florida’s next governor, recently said we need to “crush the culture of guns” and admitted, “maybe I don’t [agree with the Second Amendment]. I don’t care.”

He’s not hiding it-he wants mass gun control, leaving law-abiding Floridians defenseless.

Let’s not forget: Jolly is just Temu Charlie, a cheaper knockoff of failed Democrat Charlie Crist. He’s changed parties, changed principles, and is now auditioning to lead the Florida Democrat Party off another cliff.

But Republicans are ready. Thanks to strong Republican leadership and the Democrats continually embracing failed policies like open borders and attacks on our constitutional rights, the GOP holds a 1.3 million voter registration lead. Our grassroots army is fired up, mobilized, and ready to Keep Florida Red.

“David Jolly’s agenda is a direct attack on the Constitution,” said RPOF Chairman Evan Power. “He’s out of step, out of touch, and out of chances. Florida rejects gun control, rejects socialism, and rejects Jolly.”
