EXPOSED: Abigail Spanberger's Energy Plan Would Leave Virginians in the Dark

July 29, 2025

In a devastating new ad, the Winsome Earle-Sears campaign exposes how Radical Democrat Abigail Spanberger’s energy agenda is a road to ruin that will literally leave Virginians in the dark. See for yourself here:

The ad shows Spanberger on tape discussing her desire to “transition” away from fossil fuels—a line straight out of the California liberal playbook. And we know exactly where that road leads: rolling blackouts, sky-high energy prices, and constant threats to grid reliability. That’s the future Spanberger wants for Virginia.

Spanberger has also backed electric vehicle mandates that would force Virginians to give up their gas-powered cars and buy expensive EVs, whether they want to or not. She supported the Green New Deal and rubber-stamped every penny of Joe Biden’s wasteful climate spending—spending that fueled 9% inflation and crushed working families.

The result? Energy policies Spanberger voted for in Congress cost the average household more than $2,500 over Biden’s four years in office.

Abigail Spanberger is simply too radical for Virginia. When it’s literally a matter of keeping the lights on, she’s ready to sell out our Commonwealth to the far-left green lobby.

Virginia can’t afford Spanberger’s California-style energy crisis.
