Governor Patrick Morrisey Releases Statement on Pro-Life Victory in the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals

Charleston, W.V. - Governor Patrick Morrisey released the following statement in response to the 4th Circuit’s decision in GenBioPro v. Morrisey: 

“Big win out of the 4th Circuit today,” said Governor Morrisey. “I defended this law as Attorney General and am proud to see a victory in this case. West Virginia can continue to enforce our pro-life laws and lead the nation in our efforts to protect life. We will always be a pro-life state!”

The case challenged West Virginia’s ban on abortion medication. The law was upheld at the District Court and affirmed by the 4th Circuit. Read the decision here
