TALLAHASSEE, FL - On August 11 2025, Governor Ron DeSantis announced the appointment of Violet Lowrey and Diana Taub and the reappointment of Elizabeth Justen to the South Broward Hospital District.
Violet Lowrey
Lowrey is currently retired and previously served as the Director of Student and Career Services at Keiser University. Active in her community, she previously served as a member of the Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce Education and Workforce Committee, the Rotary Club of Cypress Creek, and the American Lung Association of South Florida. Lowrey earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business administration from Nova Southeastern University.
Diana Taub
Taub is a Consultant. Active in her community, she is currently appointed to the State Retirement Commission and previously served as a member of the Florida Association of School Administrators and the National Association of Secondary School Administrators. Taub earned her bachelor's degree from Pratt Institute and her master’s degree from Nova Southeastern University.
Elizabeth Justen
Justen is the Owner of the Justen Group, Inc. and a Project Manager of E-Commerce Marketing for BrandsMart USA. Active in her community, she currently serves as the Executive Director of the Broward County Sheriff’s Foundation. Justen earned her bachelor’s degree in finance and marketing from St. Edwards University and her master’s degree in complex health systems from Nova Southeastern University.
