TALLAHASSEE, FL - On June 30, 2025, Governor Ron DeSantis announced the appointment of Michael Hellman and Jeremy Rodgers to the Florida Commission on Ethics.
Michael Hellman
Hellman is a Staff Attorney for the South Florida Police Benevolent Association. Previously, he served as an Assistant State Attorney for the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office. Hellman earned his bachelor’s degree in history from Florida State University and his juris doctor from the University of Miami.
Jeremy Rodgers
Rodgers is a Field Chief Technology Officer for Armis. He previously served as the Chief Information Security Officer for the State of Florida and was elected as a City Councilman for the City of Boca Raton. An active member of the United States Navy Reserve, Rodgers earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in computer engineering and is currently working towards his doctorate in computer engineering from Florida Atlantic University.
These appointments are subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
