Governor Ron DeSantis Reappoints Denise Grimsley to the South Florida State College District Board of Trustees

TALLAHASSEE, FL - On June 27, 2025, Governor Ron DeSantis announced the reappointment of Denise Grimsley to the South Florida State College District Board of Trustees.

Denise Grimsley

Grimsley is the Chief Executive Officer of The Development Group. Previously, she served as a Florida State Senator, representing Districts 21 and 26, and as a member of the Florida House of Representatives for District 77. Grimsley received her Licensed Practical Nurse Certification from South Florida State College and her bachelor’s degree in organizational management from Warner University.

This appointment is subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
