Governor Tate Reeves Sets Special Election for Senate District 18

JACKSON, MS - Governor Tate Reeves today announced that he has set a special election to fill the vacancy in Senate District 18 (Leake, Neshoba, and Winston Counties). The vacancy is due to the resignation of the Honorable Jenifer B. Branning upon her election to the Mississippi Supreme Court effective January, 6 2025. 

The special election will be held on April 15, 2025. The qualifying deadline for the election is February 24, 2025.
