"EXCLUSIVE: Biden Admission Prompts Bill To Neuter Autopen"

Rep. Addison McDowell (R-NC) is introducing a bill called the “Ban on Inkless Directives and Executive Notarizations Act of 2025 (BIDEN) Act” that would amend Title 3 of the U.S. Code to prevent a president from using such a device for signing bills, executive orders, pardons, and commutations.

“The American people elect a President to run the country, not a cabal of woke staffers,” McDowell told The Daily Wire. “Sadly, that is exactly what the American people received under Joe Biden.”

McDowell’s bill aims to ensure that a president personally signs off on bills, executive orders, pardons, and commutations. His office also contends the legislation would dictate that any of these acts signed in violation of this rule, both in the past or the future, would be considered invalid and have no legal effect.

"Virginia Foxx not done making waves as the ‘Iron Lady’ of the House GOP"

From elevator-bound staffers to the top leaders in the House, no one is underestimating 82-year-old Rep. Virginia Foxx (R-N.C.).

After Foxx chaired a nearly 22-hour House Rules Committee hearing ahead of House passage of Trump’s “One Big Beautiful Bill” in May, Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) called her the “Iron Lady of the House.” House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) called Foxx a “tough cookie” and a “straight shooter” in a press conference a few weeks later.

Now in her 11th term in Congress, Foxx is undeniably one of the most iconic figures in the House Republican Conference — a stature achieved not by making waves through social media or bombastic stances, but through being a workhorse and a team player.

“I am really, really focused on not wasting time,” Foxx said in an interview with The Hill in June. “If you see me when I’m waiting for the train, you’ll see I go to the end of the platform so that I am on the first car, so when I get out, I’m as close as I can be to where I’m going.”

"Republican lawmakers to introduce bill to repeal largest teachers union's federal charter"

Republican lawmakers plan to introduce legislation to revoke the federal charter of the National Education Association (NEA) over concerns about its political priorities.

North Carolina Rep. Mark Harris and Tennessee Sen. Marsha Blackburn revealed in The Daily Caller that they will each introduce the National Education Association Charter Repeal Act in their respective chambers. The bill aims to revoke the federal charter for the largest teachers’ union in the country.

"From branding President Trump a fascist to embracing divisive gender ideology and walking away from efforts to fight antisemitism, the NEA has become nothing more than a partisan advocacy group," Harris told The Daily Caller. "Since the NEA is clearly not prioritizing students, parents or even teachers, it’s time to remove Congress’ seal of approval from this rogue organization."

"Congressman Greg Murphy addresses Medicaid challenges and misinformation surrounding healthcare policies"

Congressman Greg Murphy, a practicing physician and member of Congress from North Carolina, shares insights on current legislation and the state of healthcare in America.

Congressman Murphy discusses the FBI's investigation into political conspiracies, the challenges facing Medicaid, and the importance of reforming the healthcare system to better serve those in need. He also addresses misinformation surrounding healthcare policies and the need for transparency and accountability in government.

"North Carolina Senator Ted Budd speaks to FOX8 about recently passed megabill"

Congress had been working around the clock and on weekends to finalize President Trump’s megabill that set the parameters for government spending over the next year.

North Carolina Senator Ted Budd spoke with FOX8’s Senior Political Reporter Bob Buckley about his take on the bill, including the claim that Republicans didn’t reduce spending enough to get the nation back on a sustainable fiscal track.

“I am all about cutting spending … Let’s do it on the essentials that keep this country strong and keep it safe,” Budd said.

The case he makes is that the best way to increase government revenues is to grow the economy to bring in more overall tax dollars.

“Let’s rein in spending … We need to outgrow this problem, and I think this is step one. It’s a step in the right direction … Last night, 3 in the morning, we’re voting on rescissions, and that’s a step in the right direction … We haven’t done this in 30 years or more, but now we took a step in the right direction to rein in spending on things that aren’t really representative of what people elected Donald Trump to do,” he said.
