DES MOINES - Iowa GOP Spokesperson Jade Cichy released the following statement in response to far-left Democrat Xavier Carrigan announcing a campaign for U.S. House in Iowa’s Third Congressional District:

“Looks like another far-left Democrat is throwing his hat in the ring to see who will suffer an embarrassing defeat next November.

IA-03 voters will reject the extreme liberal policies of Xavier Carrigan, just like every other far-left Democrat who has tried and failed to defeat proven conservative leader, Congressman Zach Nunn."
