Janelle Bynum Alleged Coverup

Oregon Republican Party leadership today reacted to the new report of a legislative ethics complaint against Democrat Janelle Bynum:

Janelle Bynum’s alleged cover-up of sexual abuse represents a dereliction of her legal and moral duty as an elected official. This report is shocking and yet unsurprising after Bynum’s years-long pattern of failing sex abuse victims with her extreme antics in Salem. Bynum has no business representing Oregonians in Congress — she should immediately withdraw from the race and submit to detailed questioning about this outrage.

A Fox News report revealed that an ethics complaint was filed in the Oregon State House against State Rep. Janelle Bynum, which stated Bynum “failed to act on allegations of sexual harassment and assault against a man working with her campaign.” Fox News also reported that Oregon Police are investigating.
