NCGOP Welcomes New State Board of Elections

The North Carolina Republican Party welcomes the new members of the N.C. State Board of Elections, who held their first meeting today in Raleigh.

At the meeting, Francis De Luca was elected as the board's new Chairman, and a new Executive Director was named: Sam Hayes, a well-respected attorney with experience across North Carolina. 

"The new State Board of Elections took swift action today and we look forward to working with the new leadership," said NCGOP Chairman Jason Simmons. "Restoring confidence in the State Board of Elections will take time but we are hopeful in the new direction that began today."
