Oregon Republican Party Proudly Supports Parents' Rights in Education Inaugural Gala

March 3, 2025

SALEM, OR - The Oregon Republican Party is proud to support Parents’ Rights in Education as
they host their inaugural “Let Kids Be Kids” Gala on March 6, 2025, at 6:00 PM at the NW Events Center in Hillsboro, Oregon. This event marks a significant milestone in the fight to protect parental rights and ensure that public schools remain safe, constructive environments focused on academic excellence rather than political agendas.

Parents’ Rights in Education is a leading advocacy organization dedicated to empowering parents, valuing students, and supporting communities to secure a strong, apolitical education system. Parents’ Rights in Education stands firm in its belief that education should
inspire and unite students as scholars rather than subjecting them to ideological indoctrination. With increasing concerns over extreme political activism in schools, this organization provides parents with the tools and support they need to stand up for their rights and ensure that schools respect the role of families in their children’s education.

The Oregon Republican Party fully supports Parents’ Rights in Education’s mission and their commitment to ensuring that parents, not bureaucracies, have the final say in their children’s upbringing. As families across Oregon demand greater transparency and
accountability in education, Parents’ Rights in Education serves as a vital voice advocating for academic integrity, parental involvement, and the protection of childhood innocence.

We encourage all Oregonians who care about the future of education to attend this important event. Together, we can restore balance, uphold parental rights, and ensure that schools focus on core academics, not political indoctrination.
