RPNM Wishes the Jewish Community a Happy Rosh Hashanah!

October 2, 2024

This evening begins Rosh Hashanah, also known as Yom Teruah, which is the beginning of the Jewish new year and the first of the Jewish High Holy Days. It is celebrated with feasting, shofar blasts and prayers for reconnection with God.

May this new year bring an end to the antisemitism in our country, a safe return of all the hostages and peace in Israel and the Middle East.

The Republican Party of New Mexico wishes all of our Jewish friends a Happy and Sweet Rosh Hashanah! Shana Tova!
