Statement in Response to Governor Beshear’s latest Comments on President Biden’s Campaign

July 1, 2024

FRANKFORT, KY (July 1, 2024) - Republican Party of Kentucky spokesperson Andy Westberry released the following statement in response to Governor Beshear’s most recent comments, saying that he still supports President Biden even after last week’s abysmal debate performance.

“The Biden family and Democratic elites like Andy Beshear have lied to the American people for the last four years about this president. But last week, Kentuckians and every American saw the reality: President Biden is alarmingly diminished.

Beshear clearly sees this as an opportunity for his political future, but his insincere attempt to deflect from the issue won’t make it go away. Andy Beshear needs to stand up and show real leadership by telling the truth: Joe Biden is not fit to serve as President today, let alone for another four years.”
