WATCH: Crane Counters Biden Admin's Lies on GOP Spending Bill, Alleged Efforts to Cut Veteran Benefits

May 2, 2023

Following the White House's claims that the Republican spending bill would defund the Department of Veterans Affairs and cut veterans benefits, Rep. Eli Crane (R-AZ) released a video countering the Biden Admin's lies.

"Keep in mind, these are the same people, a couple months ago, who told you we were going to cut Social Security and Medicare. They're also the same people who tell you they have operational control over the southern border and that the economy is doing great. They can't tell you the truth, so this is their native tongue: misrepresentation, misinformation."

"I was in the room with the Freedom Caucus while they were drafting a lot of the elements that went into the cuts that were being made. Most of it was woke and weaponized federal spending -- discretionary spending, like money for the 87,000 IRS agents, the Inflation Reduction Act, the Green New Deal [...] rescinding the student loan bailout, those were the types of things that we went after."
