We Wish We Were Wrong

Every election season, the left and the mainstream media like to gaslight Republicans for caring about election integrity. 

Well look - moments like today, we wish we were wrong. We wish our system was flawless and error free, and we wish that every election official in the country (looking at you, Jocelyn Benson) upheld our laws to the letter. 

Today, avid defender of Michigan’s election system Jocelyn Benson (..if you didn’t detect the sarcasm, it’s there) announced that a Chinese student at the University of Michigan voted in our Presidential election. 

Yeah. A Chinese citizen cast a vote in the most consequential election of our lifetime, in a state that could determine the election. 

This student KNOWS they aren’t an American Citizen. But they were emboldened enough by our lax election laws to vote anyway. 

It’s simple. Only American citizens should be able to vote in American elections. This individual’s ability to vote is a direct result of Secretary Benson’s disregard for the integrity of our electoral system, and her continued efforts to weaken Michigan’s election laws. 

Bottom Line: It’s an insult to Michiganders. Americans should decide American elections.
