Will Pritzker Finally Announce His Presidential Bid?

July 25, 2025

CHICAGO - On Saturday July 26, JB Pritzker will travel to the Tar Heel State for the state’s annual “unity dinner.” Pritzker will use his prime speaking slot to try and woo North Carolina Democrat voters as he continues to pivot towards the 2028 Democrat primary. Pritzker is an old-pro at this shtick, considering how he’s attempted to become the leader of the Democrat party for the last three years. See for yourself:

FIRST: Pritzker traveled to New Hampshire in 2022 to raise his profile and set up a future presidential run.

THEN: Pritzker refused to quash rumors that he would leave Illinois to run for president when Democrats launched their soft coup against Joe Biden.

THEN: When Kamala Harris was announced as the Democrats’ preferred choice, Pritzker launched a full-court press campaign to become her vice president.

THEN: Pritzker again traveled to New Hampshire for the state’s largest fundraising dinner where he used his time to incite violence against Republicans.

NOW: Pritzker is jetting off to another key presidential state instead of leading Illinois here at home,

ILGOP Chairman Kathy Salvi released the following statement:

“Is JB Pritzker finally going to announce his candidacy for President on Saturday? He’s already seeking his 15 minutes of fame with calls for violence, by fighting against President Trump, driving working families out of our state, prioritizing illegal immigrants and proving that he is the most extreme Democrat running. His unbridled ambition drives his agenda and Illinois families deserve to know whether Pritzker is running for Governor, or if he is abandoning Illinois for a presidential campaign. Based upon this weekend’s grandstanding, the answer is obvious.”
