Chris Murphy Finally Admits Biden's Cognitive Decline: Will the Rest of the Connecticut Democrats do the Same?

May 15, 2025

Middletown, CT - While he was quick to heap praise on President Biden during election season, Democrat Senator Chris Murphy, the de facto spokesman for the Democrat Party, has now admitted what most of the American people knew a long time ago: President Biden suffered cognitive decline while in office. In fact, he said, “[t]here’s no doubt about it.

“For much of the 2024 election, Democrats ran a national gaslighting campaign about President Biden’s cognitive and physical health. Democrats, including many in Connecticut, lied to voters that President Biden was mentally fit to serve. Now, some of them, led by Connecticut’s junior Senator, Chris Murphy, are even admitting to that lie,” said Connecticut Republican Party Chairman Ben Proto.

“I, as well as the people of Connecticut, would like to know where the rest of the Connecticut Democrats stand on this issue. Governor Lamont, Senator Blumenthal, and the Connecticut Democrat members of Congress, do you agree with Senator Murphy’s comments that Biden suffered cognitive decline in office? If you do, why did you repeatedly lie to the American people?” If you don’t, is Senator Murphy lying again to Connecticut and America?

“The American people deserved to know the truth about President Biden. They are entitled to know if the President of the United States was cognitively capable of making the life and death decisions that he could have been called upon to make, decisions regarding prosecutions, pardons, military actions, or even who should be leading various federal government agencies. Yet, time and time again, Connecticut Democrats have proven they are more concerned about remaining in power than leading our nation in the right direction.” Proto said.

“Well, Governor, will you stand up and tell Connecticut you were wrong in your support of President Biden, or will you continue to play the old three-card monte with the people of Connecticut?” concluded Proto.
