Gas Gouging Gavin and CA Dems Officially Raise Gas Prices

SACRAMENTO - On October 14, 2024, California Republican Party Chairwoman Jessica Millan Patterson released the following statement in response to Gavin Newsom signing his refinery mandate into law with a heavy assist from Legislative Democrats:

“Gavin Newsom and his rubber stamp minions in the legislature have officially made things more expensive for Californians as Newsom signs their reckless refinery storage mandate into law. For California voters who have not yet filled out your ballots, please know: California Democrats have ignored your valid pleas to lower the state’s sky-high cost of living and have instead decided to make our highest-in-the-nation gas prices even higher. Dave Min, Josh Newman, Sabrina Cervantes, Jacqui Irwin, Corey Jackson, Sharon Quirk-Silva, Pilar Schiavo and Esmeralda Soria will always put Gavin Newsom’s interests over yours. It’s time to vote them out.”
