PIERRE, S.D. – On July 17, 2025, Governor Larry Rhoden will visit Tea, Viborg, and Lennox on his Open for Opportunity tour.
Governor Rhoden is proud that South Dakota is home to so many strong, family-owned businesses, including DeGeest. DeGeest is a leading resource for manufacturers looking for excellence in steel works, automation, and finishing, and the Governor will tour their facilities.
The Governor will also attend the 2025 Danish Viking Days, where he will join in celebrating Viborg’s rich Danish heritage.
In Lennox, the Governor will tour Sioux Steel Company, which plays a key role in our thriving ag industry. They manufacture grain bins, bunker walls, buildings, livestock equipment, and garden bed.
Wilson Trailer will be the final stop in Lennox. They manufacture over-the-road grain trailers and have benefitted significantly from the Governor’s Office of Economic Development.
