Governor Ayotte Visits Northern Border

CONCORD, NH – On July 29, 2025, Governor Kelly Ayotte visited the U.S. Customs and Border Protection station at the Pittsburg Border Station for a tour and briefing on the Northern Border Alliance with federal, state, and local law enforcement.

Law enforcement agencies present included United States Customs and Border Protection, United States Border Patrol, New Hampshire State Police, the Coös County Sheriff’s Office, and the Pittsburg Police Department.

Governor Ayotte’s budget included an additional $600,000 in funding for the Northern Border Alliance and $1.0 million in funding for a new Northern Shield program to combat drug trafficking into New Hampshire’s northern counties.
