Governor Chris Sununu Signs 14 Bills Into Law

Concord, NH – On Aug 23rd, Governor Chris Sununu signed the following 14 bills into law:

HB 518: Relative to the administration of occupations by the office of professional licensure and certification

HB 1091: Relative to the financing of political campaigns

HB 1197: Relative to criminal background checks and relative to insurance coverage for intrauterine insemination

HB 1202: Relative to the issuance of permits for the alteration of driveways exiting onto public ways and relative to the definition of disability or special needs under the childcare scholarship program

HB 1241: Relative to the regulation of money transmitters; relative to license applications and renewals for certain consumer credit entities; and requiring the investment advisor for the public deposit investment pool to maintain funds in a particular manner

HB 1386: Relative to prohibiting the disposal of lithium-ion batteries in solid waste landfill facilities, composting facilities, or incinerators

HB 1400: Relative to residential parking spaces, landlord-tenant law, unauthorized occupant evictions, and zoning procedures concerning residential housing

HB 1589: Establishing a veteran's treatment court

HB 1600: Relative to aggregation of electric customers by municipalities and counties

SB 306: Relative to manufactured housing rulemaking authority

SB 369: Directing the office of professional licensure and certification to provide notice of public meetings and an opportunity for comment, creating a new position, and making an appropriation therefor

SB 388: Relative to administration of utilities by the department of energy

SB 409: Relative to reimbursement for ambulance services under the state Medicaid plan and making an appropriation therefor and making an appropriation to the department of health and human services to support recreational activities for individuals with developmental disabilities

SB 417: Relative to out-of-home placements for children and making an appropriation therefor
