Governor Lombardo Lowers Flags in Honor of His Holiness Pope Francis

Las Vegas, NV -- At the direction of the President of the United States, Nevada Governor Joe Lombardo has ordered the flags of the United States and State of Nevada to be lowered to half-staff immediately to honor the memory of His Holiness Pope Francis. The flags will remain at half-staff until sunset on the day of interment.

The proclamation from President Trump is below:
Honoring the Memory of His Holiness Pope Francis – The White House 

Accordingly, since no flag should fly higher than the United States flag, all other flags, including state, municipal, corporate, or otherwise, should also be lowered during this time.
