Governor Kevin Stitt announced on Oct 29th, that Timothy Tardibono will serve as the executive director of the Oklahoma Office of Juvenile Affairs.

“Tim is one of Oklahoma’s leading experts on criminal justice, family, and public service, and I’m grateful for his willingness to serve our state,” said Governor Stitt. “I’m confident Tim will lead with integrity and a servant’s heart, and I know him as someone who will work tirelessly to provide young Oklahomans with opportunities to thrive.”

Tardibono brings over 20 years of experience in law and public policy. During his six-year tenure as the executive director of the Oklahoma County Criminal Justice Advisory Council (CJAC), Oklahoma County achieved significant improvements in reducing jail over-crowding, data analytics, and program expansion and efficiency, receiving national recognition for sustained progress. Tardibono began his public service career with the Office of Juvenile Affairs nearly 25 years ago under former Governor Frank Keating and the Office of Health and Human Services. His experience also includes five years as counsel to U.S. Senator Tom Coburn in Washington, D.C. and four years as assistant general counsel at the Oklahoma Department of Health.

“Oklahoma is blessed with numerous natural resources, but none more important than our children and youth,” Tardibono said. “It is a privilege to accept Governor Stitt’s call to lead the Oklahoma Office of Juvenile Affairs and advance the Governor’s mission to provide quality service to our children, their families, and Oklahoma’s residents.”
