Hann Commemorates Anniversary of Oct. 7; Denounces McCollum’s Anti-Semitism

Minneapolis, MN - On October 7th, marks the first anniversary of Hamas’ brutal terrorist attacks on Israel which needlessly killed and captured over 1,400 Israelis. The Republican Party of Minnesota reiterates today that the United States stands with Israel and Jews across the world and holds them in our prayers as we commemorate this anniversary.

Chairman David Hann issued the following statement in response to the increase in anti-Semitism we have seen in the past year: “The United States has always stood with Israel and we must continue to stand with them in the fight against terrorism and Hamas. I continue to pray for the victims and all those affected by the Hamas attacks last year.”

“The MN GOP continues to call out the increase in anti-Semitism we have seen in the past year from protests in support of terrorism and Hamas to threats against local synagogues and those within the DFL who support Hamas. Just last week, DFL Congresswoman Betty McCollum asked the Departments of Defense and State to defund Israel. Israel has the right to defend itself against all terrorists and we must continue to support them in their fight, not cave to protestors and abandon our ally.”
