Citizens Encouraged to Report Suspicious Election Activities to MSGOP

Jackson, MS - The Mississippi Republican Party announced today that it is working with Republican leaders, Republican County Chairs and others to educate and deploy poll watchers and attorneys throughout the state on election day in order to ensure fair, transparent and lawful elections throughout Mississippi.

“The right to vote is fundamental to our democracy, and the Mississippi Republican Party is committed to ensuring that Mississippians are educated on their rights, that our laws are followed, and that each Mississippian’s vote is secured, protected and counted. We have recruited and trained hundreds of poll watchers and lawyers, and we are preparing to deploy one of the largest election integrity programs in our state’s history in order to preserve the sanctity of our elections,” said Mike Hurst, Chairman of the Mississippi Republican Party.

In 2024, the MSGOP created “Secure the Vote,” its election integrity program, with the intent to recruit poll workers who would strictly follow the law, train and deploy poll watchers who would serve in precincts on election day to ensure Mississippi law is being followed, and mobilize lawyers and legal teams throughout Mississippi who will rapidly respond to resolve election issues and safeguard our elections through the judicial system, if necessary.

The MSGOP is encouraging citizens to actively participate in the electoral process. If Mississippians witness any irregularities or have any concerns at or around their polling places, they are urged to report such incidents to the MSGOP.

To report suspicious election activity to the MSGOP, Mississippians can fill out the report form located at ms.protectthevote.com or call MSGOP’s Election Day Hotline at (601)-516-7601.

If Mississippians would like more information about the MSGOP’s election integrity efforts or to volunteer with the MSGOP, please contact the MSGOP at 601-948-5191.
