June 24, 2025

The North Carolina Republican Party (NCGOP) applauds the actions taken at the June 21, 2025 meeting of the N.C. State Board of Elections (NCSBE).

The full membership of North Carolina's 100 county boards of election were selected, in addition to the chairs of the county boards named by State Auditor Dave Boliek.

Also, the NCSBE approved a plan from the Executive Director to finally bring North Carolina's voter rolls into compliance with Federal and State law.

"The State Board of Elections is acting to correct numerous errors which have been identified for years as issues. This is an encouraging step towards restoring trust in state elections," said NCGOP Chairman Jason Simmons.
