New Poll: Biden, Trump 'A Dead Heat'; Trump Voters More Enthusiastic

June 10, 2024

Minneapolis, MN - Republican Party of Minnesota Chairman David Hann issued the following statement in response to a new Star Tribune/MPR News/KARE 11 poll showing President Joe Biden with “a narrow lead” over President Donald Trump in Minnesota and Trump voters more enthusiastic than Biden voters.

“The enthusiasm I see as I travel across the state matches is clearly being registered in this poll and is a signal voters are engaged and ready for change. The Republican Party of Minnesota is focused on harnessing this momentum to lead us to victory in November.

This is the fifth straight media outlet poll showing Biden and Trump in a close race in Minnesota. Last month, KSTP-TV/SurveyUSA released a poll showing Biden with a two-point lead over Trump, 44% to 42%. The poll from KSTP-TV/SurveyUSA mirrored results from a poll released in April.

This poll demonstrates Minnesota’s ongoing competitiveness in the presidential race and significant dissatisfaction with Biden and his administration.

The Republican Party of Minnesota is more energized than ever to support President Trump’s return, leveraging this enthusiasm to close the gap and lead us towards a prosperous future.”
