Statement on Speaker Emerita Melissa Hortman, Mark Hoffman, Senator John Hoffman and Yvette Hoffman

We are heartbroken by the targeted shooting that killed Speaker Emerita Melissa Hortman and her husband, Mark, and wounded Sen. John Hoffman and his wife, Yvette.

Political violence has no place in our society.

Our prayers are with all the victims, their families and all those who they helped with their service to the State of Minnesota. #mnleg #EndPoliticalViolence
