Statement on the National Republican Trifecta Election

November 6, 2024

Washington, DC - On November 5, 2024 Night, Americans across our entire country made their voices heard loud and clear. Voters turned out in record numbers and had their say in the Senate and the White House. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to our 47th President of the United States, President-elect Donald J. Trump, and Vice President-elect JD Vance, for their indisputable victory. The resurgence of the Republican Party in these crucial elections is a testament to the people’s desire for change and progress.

Patrick Mara, Chairman of the DC Republican Party, proudly stated, “We congratulate our 47th President Donald J. Trump and Vice President JD Vance on taking back America. Americans have clearly expressed their frustration with the Democrats’ destructive progressive policies.”

He added, “As we prepare for the new Republican majority and await the final results in the House, we look forward to collaborating with Republican members of Congress and President Trump to enhance Home Rule, restore law and order and unleash a new golden age in the District.”

The DC Republican Party is comprised of registered Republicans living throughout the District of Columbia in all eight wards who are nominated and elected to serve as members. It is a state party with three elected members of the 168-member Republican National Committee.
