Happy Independence Day!

July 4, 2025

Two hundred forty-nine years ago, on July 4th, 1776, our Founding Fathers declared independence from tyranny and laid the groundwork for the greatest nation the world has ever known. The United States of America was built on timeless principles—individual liberty, limited government, personal responsibility, and the God-given rights of every citizen.

As Republicans, we are proud to carry on that legacy. We believe America is worth defending, worth celebrating, and worth preserving. The freedoms we enjoy today—from speech and worship to self-determination and enterprise—exist because of the courage and sacrifice of those who came before us.

Independence Day isn’t just about fireworks and festivities. It’s a reminder of who we are as a people and what we must continue to stand for. Let us never take our freedom for granted, and let us never forget that it is our responsibility to protect it, not just with words, but with action.

Wishing you and your family a joyful and meaningful Fourth of July. Let us help instill the principles of liberty in those around us; most importantly, the next generation.

May God bless you, and may God continue to bless the United States of America.

In freedom,

Robert Axson
Chairman
Utah Republican Party
