It Just Keeps Getting Worse

September 9, 2024

In case you missed it, the America First Policy Institute is out with a new research report that confirms our fears. The proposed ban on gas powered cars by Kamala Harris - you know, the same ban she now refuses to talk about - would eliminate nearly 200,000 auto manufacturing jobs.

The majority of those would be in Michigan.

“Biden-Harris Administration regulations will limit gas-powered cars to no more than one-third of new vehicle sales by 2032. Some policymakers, such as Vice President Kamala Harris, have proposed completely banning new conventional and hybrid vehicle sales, forcing consumers to buy fully electric vehicles,”  the report says.

What’s the best case scenario? 37,000 LESS auto-manufacturing jobs in Michigan.

Just last week, AXIOS reported that Kamala’s campaign “won’t say whether she supports requiring automakers to build only electric or hydrogen vehicles by 2035 – a position she took during her 2020 campaign for president.”

Considering that a MINIMUM of 37,000 Michiganders stand to lose their jobs to Kamala Harris’ dangerously liberal policies, Michigan has a vested interest.

Tomorrow night, Kamala must be asked about her support for banning gas powered vehicles.

Nearly 40,000 Michigan livelihoods depend on it.
