Republican Party of New Mexico Statement Honoring Flag Day and the U.S. Army's Birthday

June 14, 2025

NEW MEXICO - On  June 14, 2025, the Republican Party of New Mexico proudly joins Americans across the nation in honoring two pillars of our national heritage-Flag Day and the 250th Birthday of the United States Army.

June 14th marks the adoption of the Stars and Stripes in 1777, a powerful symbol of freedom, unity, and resilience. Our flag represents the values that define our great republic: liberty, justice, and the enduring strength of the American spirit.

On this same day, we also commemorate the founding of the United States Army in 1775. For 250 years, the brave men and women of the Army have stood on the front lines in defense of our nation and our Constitution. Their sacrifices, valor, and unwavering commitment to duty have safeguarded our way of life and preserved the freedoms we hold dear.

The Republican Party of New Mexico expresses its deepest gratitude to all who have served in the United States Army and reaffirms our commitment to upholding the principles represented by our flag. Let us honor both our nation’s banner and those who fight to protect it-not just today, but every day.

May God bless the United States Army, and may God bless America!
