WisDems Continue Prioritizing Woke Ideas Over Quality Education

June 11, 2025

MADISON, WI - The WisDems are doubling down on their woke ideologies at their state convention this weekend. Rather than tackling educational failures, WisDems proposed not one, but three resolutions linked to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) and Critical Race Theory (CRT), masquerading as ‘accurate history’ and ‘academic freedom.’ This move underscores their growing disconnect from Wisconsin families.

These divisive policies, outlined below, seek to reintroduce ideological indoctrination into classrooms, prioritizing identity over merit and factual learning. This focus highlights WisDems’ out-of-touch agenda and radical views they continue to push on Wisconsin families.

“Divisive policies like DEI and CRT have no place in our schools or public institutions,” said WisGOP Chairman Brian Schimming, “Democrats’ actions show how truly disconnected they are from Wisconsinites and their families. Wisconsin will continue to fight against this woke agenda and win in 2026.”
