CHRIS MURPHY, JAHANA HAYES, AND DEMOCRATS FAIL TO PROTECT CONNECTICUT
MIDDLETOWN - On Monday, Trea de Aragua gang members committed a heinous murder in Stamford. Police captured the two in New Rochelle, New York, after they fled the scene of the murder with two young children.
“When Senator Chris Murphy said that the Democrat Party has failed the people we care most about, ‘undocumented Americans’, these were the people he was talking about. Because of Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Chris Murphy, Jahana Hayes, Joe Courtney, and the entire Connecticut Congressional delegation’s failure to secure our border, a Connecticut citizen was brutally murdered by one of the most brutal and inhumane terrorist groups that regularly crosses our southern border” said Connecticut Republican Chairman Ben Proto.
“While Senator Murphy airs the commercial of his ‘famous walk’ across Connecticut, he conveniently leaves out stops where Connecticut residents are dying from fentanyl overdoses or where those who have crossed the border illegally are using programs provided by far-left Democrats which are funded with taxpayer money. Senator Murphy talks about how he hears how unaffordable Connecticut is. Yet, he has been in Congress for 18 years, promoting programs that cost Connecticut more and more every year and doing little, if anything, to protect us from the atrocities that his policies have caused us to suffer under,” continued Proto.
“If Senator Murphy, Congresswoman Hayes, and Congressman Courtney aren’t sure that they have failed, they should all attend the murder victim’s funeral and apologize to his family. For far too long, the Democrats, led by Senator Murphy, have failed to recognize the devastation rained down on law-abiding citizens across the country by those criminals, murderers, and drug dealers who run roughshod over our border. Because of their failures, Tre de Aragua may be coming to an apartment complex in Connecticut.”
“Connecticut must send new, common-sense representation to Washington. We need common-sense Republican representation in Washington. We have our opportunity this election,” said Proto.
“Senator Murphy and the rest of the do-nothing Democrat members who allegedly represent Connecticut in Washington have failed at their most basic of jobs, protecting the people of Connecticut,”
concluded Proto.
